Another pool though much smaller

Gondola along the Venetian Hotel Canal
Woke up and decided to explore the hotel swimming pools and surroundings before leaving. The swimming pools, of which there were several, were relatively empty in the early morning. Beside the pools were numerous cabanas for rental.

Cute crab motif mosaic on the pavement
Grand Lisboa Hotel
Hotel Lisboa antique
Exquisite Jade Carving
Another antique
We set off again making use of the free shuttle buses to reach Lisboa Hotel. Here and also within the Grand Lisboa, there are numerous antiques and artwork on display.

Yee Shun Dairy Company 義順牛奶公司
Pork Bun   Rating: 4/5
Double Skin Milk Pudding and Redbean Milk Pudding   Rating: 4/5
We went to Yee Shun Dairy Company 義順牛奶公司 for breakfast. This branch is just beside Senado Square along the main street. Wanted to try the pork chop bun in Macau, and this one is really good. The bread was well toasted with a crusty exterior and the marinated pork chop was tender. Cost HKD20. Also loved the delectable desserts served here. Cost HKD47 for 2 bowls.

Mosaic Inlaid Fountain
The Cathedral Church
Bishop's Palace
Square with a Fountain and Cross
The Cathedral Church was originally built in the 1560s as a wooden structure but has since been rebuilt due to damages by a typhoon. Just outside is the Bishop's Palace which houses a small religious museum. Next to these 2 structures there is a square with a fountain and cross, where you can lay your tired feet.

Casino Lisboa
We waved goodbye to Macau as we took the ferry back to Hong Kong.

Tip: When visiting Macau, be aware that during purchases made, they may give you MOP in return. So either give the correct amount, or clear your MOP (Macau currency) before returning to Hong Kong.

For lunch, we visited Yung Kee at Wellington Street Coordinates: 22.281485,114.155636. Other than the Roast Goose with BBQ Meat which was sumptuous, the rest of the other dishes were mediocre. Inclusive of a pot of tea, the bill came up to HKD677.

Peak Tram
After dropping off our purchases at the hotel, we then proceeded to take the Peak Tram up to Victoria Peak. This is the 2nd time we went up the Peak and this time the weather was fine.

View from Peak Tram
Pagoda where you can have a nice free view
Another place with free view, The Peak Gallarie
Picture taken from the free Peak Gallarie, not dark yet
View from Sky Terrace which requires a entrance fee
We finally went up to the Sky Terrace at around 7.30pm and the place was really crowded.

Lan Kwai Fong   Coordinates: 22.280728,114.155555
From the Peak Terminal, we walked towards Lan Kwai Fong. This place is famed for its bars and restaurants. Here, especially on weekends and public holidays, you will find expatriates, locals and tourists having a jolly good time downing shots of liquor.

德園麵家   Coordinates: 22.315957,114.17174
Glutinous Rice Dumpling   Rating: 4/5

Bought supper at 德園麵家 to bring back to our hotel. The Glutinous Rice Dumpling with chilli oil is best consumed hot. Cost HKD10 for 4 pieces.
